Infrared technology is based on the transmission of electromagnetic waves and generates heat in the process. In the process, part of the infrared light is absorbed by the material, part is reflected and the rest penetrates the material, while only the absorbed infrared light can be used for heating. Each material has its own specific absorption spectrum, within which infrared rays are absorbed more, depending on the material properties.
