YFR fast medium-wave (FMW) round-tube infrared lamps use a tungsten filament inside a quartz envelope to provide a response that is faster than conventional medium-wave emitters while retaining a wavelength profile suited to many coatings, plastics, paper, textiles and moisture-drying processes.
The round-tube construction can radiate around the lamp or be supplied with a directional reflector. Voltage, power, tube diameter, heated length, cable, ceramic ends and reflector position are customized for the machine and process.

These values describe the product family. Final limits must be checked against lamp length, section, filament, mounting orientation, cooling and power supply.
Drying paint, varnish, resin and rubber coatings.
Powder-coating cure and adhesive polymerization.
Paper-moisture control, textile coating, embossing and laminating.
PET preform heating and selected plastics processes.
Drying printing ink in screen and offset equipment.
Food-equipment heating and selected pasteurization processes.
Wafer and component heating in industrial equipment.
Application suitability depends on material absorption, line speed, working distance and required temperature profile. A process test is recommended when replacing a different wavelength class.
Clear quartz allows radiation around the tube and can be used with an external reflector. Gold or white ceramic coatings can direct radiation toward one side. Reflector length, coated angle and orientation should be confirmed from the machine layout.
For a replacement lamp, send the original code, photos, voltage, power, total length, heated length, tube diameter, end structure, cable and connector. For a new process, provide the material, heated width, line speed or cycle time, working distance and available installation space.
YFR can also supply mounting clips for selected lamp sections. Clip position and thermal expansion clearance must be considered in the machine design.
