UV Lamps
What is the UV lamp:
UV lamp is the abbreviation of ultraviolet lamp. UV is the abbreviation of Ultra-Violet Ray. This kind of lamp mainly uses the characteristics of ultraviolet light to carry out photochemical reaction, product curing, sterilization and disinfection, medical inspection and so on. The spectral range of industrial UV light sources is 200nm-450nm, with main peaks at 365nm, 385nm, and 417nm. According to the different bands, they are UV-A, UV-B, UV-C, and each has different uses.
The UV lamps are gas discharge lamps. Gas discharge lamps are divided into arc discharge and glow discharge. The commonly used UV lamps in UV curing are arc discharge lamps.
Working principles:
A quantitative amount of high-purity mercury is added to a vacuum quartz tube, and an ion discharge is generated by providing a voltage difference (voltage drop) between the electrodes at both ends, thereby generating ultraviolet radiation.
The power of the UV lamp should meet the requirements (generally 80-120W/cm);
The maximum service life of the UV lamp cannot exceed 1200H, and it is generally recommended to be used for 1000H;
The UV lamp is replaced once every 500 hours, and the two UV lamps can be used alternately during maintenance for a period of time. One is used for 500 hours, and the other is used for lamps between 500 and 1000 hours;
Cleaning the lamp and turn it 1/4 turn counterclockwise before use.
Yinfrared UV lamp, spectral distribution: UVB/(UV+UVB)=3%~10%, Spectral lines are between 300-450nm. It can emit 3-5 times the ultraviolet light of sunlight, and the irradiation uniformity is better than ±15% (about ±9%), which is stronger than conventional fluorescent tubes.
