YFR supplies quartz ultraviolet lamps for industrial curing, printing, coating and surface-treatment equipment. UV lamps are produced for new installations and replacement projects where the lamp must match the original electrical rating, arc length, end structure and cooling system.
The correct replacement should be selected from technical data rather than appearance alone. Two lamps with similar overall length may use different power, electrode spacing, caps or connectors and may not operate correctly with the same ballast.

Suitability depends on the ink, coating or adhesive chemistry and on the spectral output required by the process. The lamp must also operate with the machine’s ballast, reflector, shutter and cooling arrangement.

For a replacement, send clear photos of the whole lamp and both ends, together with the original label or part number. If the lamp is damaged, an undamaged sample, machine manual or previous purchase record can reduce identification risk. For a custom lamp, provide a dimensioned drawing and the electrical and process requirements.

UV lamps must be installed and operated in properly shielded equipment.
Avoid direct eye or skin exposure to operating UV radiation.
Disconnect power and allow the lamp to cool before service.
Do not touch the quartz with bare hands; clean contamination with an appropriate lint-free method.
