FAST MEDIUM-WAVE INFRARED
TARGETED LINE HEATING
Fast medium-wave twin-tube emitters deliver controlled, non-contact heat at the prepared cutting line.
* Final design subject to specification review.
Laminated glass combines two or more glass sheets with a PVB interlayer. After the glass is scored and broken along the cutting line, the interlayer can remain intact and prevent clean panel separation.
A YFR fast medium-wave emitter directs heat into the opened cut line. The exposed PVB softens without contact, allowing the panels to be pulled apart or finished with a cutting tool. The process can be integrated into automated cutting equipment.
