Product Overview

YFR outdoor infrared heaters are designed to provide direct radiant heat for patios, terraces, restaurants, cafés, balconies, gardens, garages, workshops, warehouses, and semi-open commercial spaces. Unlike traditional convection heating, infrared heating transfers energy directly to people, objects, and surfaces within the heating area, making it suitable for outdoor and partially open environments.

The YHB/YHBR series is available in 1500W, 2000W, 2500W, and 3000W models. The heater uses a gold infrared tube, anodized extruded aluminum alloy housing, and high-reflectivity aluminum reflector to deliver fast radiant heating with a durable structure. Wall-mounted and freestanding installation options are available depending on the application.

Mechanical-control and remote-control versions can be supplied to match different user requirements.

YHB and YHBR Series Difference

Series Control Type Typical Use
YHB Series Mechanical control Simple, durable operation for fixed heating areas
YHBR Series Remote control Convenient operation for patios, restaurants, cafés, and commercial spaces

Both versions use aluminum alloy housing, gold infrared tube heating, reflector structure, and IP65-rated protection. The correct model can be selected according to control preference, installation position, heating area, and project requirement.

Why Use Infrared Heating for Outdoor Spaces?

Outdoor heating is different from indoor room heating. In patios, terraces, and open commercial areas, warm air can be quickly lost due to airflow. Infrared heating is more suitable for these environments because it transfers radiant heat directly to the target area.

For restaurants, cafés, hotels, and leisure spaces, infrared heaters can help improve comfort in outdoor seating areas. For workshops and garages, they provide localized heating without needing to heat the entire air volume.

Main Advantages

Advantage Practical Benefit
Fast radiant heating Provides direct warmth shortly after power-on
Gold infrared tube Supports efficient radiant heat output and low-glare appearance
Aluminum alloy housing Durable structure with good corrosion resistance
Aluminum reflector Helps direct heat toward the heating area
IP65 protection Suitable for outdoor and semi-outdoor heater installations
Wall-mounted option Saves floor space and suits fixed heating zones
Freestanding option Flexible placement for patios, events, and workshops
Mechanical or remote control Matches simple operation or convenient user control needs

Typical Applications

Application Typical Use
Restaurant terrace Outdoor dining area heating
Café and bar patio Comfortable radiant heat for semi-open seating
Hotel and resort outdoor areas Heating for lounges, balconies, and leisure areas
Residential patio Garden, balcony, deck, and courtyard heating
Garage and workshop Localized heating for workstations
Warehouse and industrial area Spot heating for operators or work zones
Event and temporary spaces Freestanding heater placement for flexible heating
Outdoor commercial projects Wall-mounted heater installation for fixed areas

Power Selection Guide

Power Suggested Use
1500W Small patio, balcony, compact seating area, localized personal heating
2000W Medium patio, café table area, garage workstation, semi-open space
2500W Larger terrace, restaurant outdoor seating, commercial patio area
3000W High-output heating for larger outdoor areas, workshops, or project applications

The actual heating effect depends on installation height, mounting angle, ambient temperature, wind exposure, distance from heater to target area, and whether the space is open or semi-enclosed.

Installation Options

YFR outdoor infrared heaters can be installed in different ways according to site conditions.

Installation Type Description
Wall-mounted Suitable for patios, terraces, restaurants, cafés, balconies, and fixed heating zones
Freestanding Suitable for movable heating areas, workshops, events, and flexible outdoor use
Ceiling or bracket installation Can be designed according to project structure and safety requirements

For best performance, the heater should be installed at a suitable height and angle so that radiant heat is directed toward the target area. Avoid placing the heater too far from the seating or working area.

Structure and Materials

The heater housing is made from anodized extruded aluminum alloy. This structure provides a clean appearance, good rigidity, and improved corrosion resistance for outdoor and semi-outdoor use.

The internal aluminum reflector helps concentrate radiant heat toward the front side of the heater. The gold infrared tube provides fast heating response and a more comfortable visual appearance compared with standard clear tubes.

The IP65 design helps protect the heater from dust and water jets when correctly installed. For long-term outdoor use, the installation position, cable routing, power connection, and mounting structure should comply with local electrical safety requirements.

YFR can support heater distributors, project contractors, and OEM customers with different configuration requirements.
