Gold0222
YFR ultra-low-glare infrared lamps are designed for outdoor and semi-outdoor radiant heaters used in patios, terraces, restaurants, cafés, hotels, balconies, workshops, and commercial leisure areas. Gold, rose-gold, and other reflector or filter solutions can reduce visible brightness and help create a warmer visual effect while directing infrared energy toward the occupied zone.
This page refers to lamp solutions intended for OEM heater assemblies targeting weather-resistant construction. An IP rating applies to the tested complete heater or lamp assembly—not automatically to a bare replacement tube. Final protection depends on the housing, end seals, holders, cable glands, connectors, installation orientation, and validation performed by the equipment manufacturer.

Outdoor heater design involves a balance between radiant output, visible light, warm-up behavior, wind exposure, mounting height, coverage area, and visual comfort. YFR can evaluate several lamp configurations according to the heater structure and desired user experience:
Gold reflector lamps: directional heating with a familiar warm appearance for many commercial patio-heater designs.
Rose-gold or glare-reduction coatings: designed to reduce visible brightness compared with a clear high-intensity lamp; the actual visual effect depends on coating, power, reflector, and housing.
Carbon infrared lamps: an option for applications seeking a softer appearance and different response characteristics.
Custom filament and reflector arrangements: evaluated when the heater needs a particular heated length, radiation pattern, or mounting geometry.

Lamp length, heated length, voltage, wattage, tube diameter, filament design, coating, end cap, lead wire, terminal, and sealing structure can be reviewed according to the customer’s heater. Because the end construction is critical in outdoor equipment, clear photos and dimensioned drawings of both lamp ends are especially important.
Please provide:
Total length and heated length
Voltage and wattage
Tube diameter or twin-tube section
Coating type and coating direction
End-cap, lead-wire, terminal, and connector details
Heater housing photos and installation orientation
Required environmental protection level and test standard for the completed assembly
A bare infrared lamp should not be described or used as permanently submersible unless the exact completed assembly has been designed and certified for that condition. Outdoor equipment needs suitable drainage, seals, electrical insulation, grounding, over-temperature protection, guards, and installation clearances. Water ingress protection must be verified on the final heater configuration after assembly.
The correct mounting height and heating coverage should be determined by the heater designer through thermal testing. Wind can reduce perceived warmth outdoors, so the required power cannot be selected from floor area alone.
No. The IP rating belongs to a defined, tested assembly. The lamp, end seals, holders, housing, cable entry, and installation must be evaluated together.
Yes. Send the full lamp photo, both end details, markings, length, voltage, power, coating, connector, and heater model. Compatibility will be reviewed before quotation.
No. “Low glare” means reduced visible brightness compared with a reference design; it does not mean zero visible light. The result depends on the emitter, coating, power, reflector, and housing.
Gold, rose-gold, and other coating options can be evaluated. Samples and application testing are recommended when visual appearance is a key purchasing criterion.
